About Katherine Morgan

Katherine is a Small Business Financial Counsellor based in Gympie. She supports small business operators in the Gympie region who have been impacted by flooding.

For over 15 years Katherine successfully co-owned and managed a small business, which involved working with a range of different industries including construction, trade, mechanical, rural and earthmoving.

Having lived and worked in small communities, Katherine understands the ups and downs that come with living in a regional area. Whether it be persevering through floods or managing the impacts of drought, Katherine is passionate about helping those impacted by adverse events.

Katherine is an enthusiastic member of the community and is committed to providing small businesses with the support and guidance they need. She enjoys being there to help people, particularly when times are tough, and listening to them in an understanding and empathetic manner.

She has studied community services and counselling and is qualified in financial services, bookkeeping and quality management.

Katherine works with a team of Financial Counsellors located throughout Southern Queensland.
